After training with renowned acting tutor David Johnson, British actress Emily Mount appeared on Emmerdale and worked in Manchester's indie theatre scene, performing at The Contact Theatre and Three Minute Theatre. A lifelong book lover, she has now happily combined her love of acting and reading into a career as an audiobook narrator.
She has worked with Harper Collins, Eljin Productions, Lantern Audio, One Audiobooks, Pink Flamingo, plus several amazing indie authors.
Her engaging, versatile voice, along with her skills with accents and ability to perform male and female voices, makes her perfect for a multitude of genres, from fantasy and sci-fi, romance and historical fiction, to literary fiction and non-fiction.
Originally from the Midlands, she now calls the thriving and creative city of Manchester home. She loves a good second-hand bargain, loose-leaf tea, and singing Taylor Swift songs in her car.
